Araluen Lutheran Camp, Anglesea, Victoria "Just be yourself" How often have you heard that advice, and what does it mean? What makes you who you are? How well do you understand your faith in the context of other Christian denominations, in light of current culture and society, and in relation to other world religions? The context you find yourself in, the world around you, has contributed greatly in working to shape and mould the person you are today. But the world is immensely complex and confusing, full of competing and often contradictory beliefs and values. These often work to distort our knowledge of, and our relationship with God, and thus affects too our potential to be our True selves, as was His plan for each of us. It is therefore so important to be discerning about what you believe in, and to understand how these beliefs are expressed in your own life. Therein lies a fundamental building block of who you are, your ‘faith Identity’. Step outside life of the everyday and come and explore these issues and more in a positive and open-minded environment at LSF National Conference 2007. From the beautiful location of Anglesea Victoria, this year’s Conference shouldn’t be missed! Special guest speakers will engage and inspire your mind and spirit, and fun-filled leisure activities, fellowship and time at the beach will allow plenty of opportunities to relax and reflect. LSF National Conference is the perfect way to celebrate the New Year and meet other Christians from across Australia.
So download the form, send it in, and we will see you there!!
