Sunday Night At St John's (SNAS) is an evening worship service hosted by LSF Victoria and held at St John's Lutheran Church Southgate, in Melbourne. SNAS relies on volunteers for the running of its services.
Current SNAS volunteer roles available include:
Bible readers
Read aloud the set bible readings (usually two).
Communion and candles assistants
Light and extinguish the altar candles, and prepare and assist with the distribution of Holy Communion.
Data projector operators
Set up and operate a PowerPoint presentation on a laptop and data projector.
Musicians
Prayer leaders
Prepare and lead the Prayer of the Church.
Supper assistants
Ushers
Each of these roles is organised by a weekly roster. SNAS volunteers nominate how often they wish to be on the roster (e.g. once per month) and for which role(s).
For more information or to suggest another way you'd like to volunteer for SNAS services, please contact us (select “Sunday Night At St John's (SNAS)” from the drop-down menu).

The Committee for Tertiary Ministry (CTM) is made up of young and older volunteers who oversee and provide direction for LSF Victoria. Most of the positions on the Committee have a one-year term, meaning that once a year (usually in May) there are often opportunities for new volunteers to join the Committee.
